Hawthorne's New York Pizza And Bar Mint Hill

We just enjoyed the BEST service with Ava Lyn. She was very attentive to details and super helpful and personable. Love this spot!! Comfy setting with delicious food. Garlic rolls are the perfect amount of doughy-crispy with lots of garlic butter that’s great to dip pizza crust. Love the Hawthorne’s scicilian, traditional pepperoni, and enjoyed the luau pizzas. Salads are generous portions and very fresh! And much enjoyed the meatball app as well. Will be returning soon.

Recently, my husband and I had dinner at Hawthorne's in Mint Hill. Our entire experience in itself was excellent from start to finish. First, we were greeted by the friendly and efficient host, David, who immediately seated us at our favorite booth. Our server, Ava, quickly took our order. Talk about service with a smile! Her friendly, bubbly personality was immediately apparent. Our food (red & white chicken parm for my husband and for me, lasagna as usual) soon arrived along with the master cook, Leandro. He certainly can put delicious dinners together. Everything we ordered was superb and the presentation was a foodaholic's delight. My lasagna was the best I've ever had anywhere and the portion was so generous that I had to take half of it home. Ben, the general manager, clearly runs a tight ship and stopped at random tables to check that diners were pleased with their meals. If you haven't eaten at Hawthorne's before, you're in for a treat when you do. I can't say enough good things about this moderately priced family restaurant!

The Mint Hill Team does it right. I would have to say this pizza is delicious and the best in and around Charlotte. The pizza dough was crisp and tasty and it was filled with fresh toppings. Service was excellent! Our server was Ava and she was spot on all night. She never missed a beat and was friendly and engaging. Probably one of the best customer experiences we have had in a long time. A highly recommend!

My wife and I had dinner on Sunday and it was delicious and had a great overall experience. From the time we were greeted and shown to our table by David we were so pleased. Our server, Ava, was so friendly and helpful. We were vacillating on our dinner choices and she suggested the dinner specials and described them very clearly. We chose one of the specials, red and white pasta for me, and my wife's favorite, lasagna. Both choices were so very, very good. Ben, the manager, stopped by our table to say hello and asked after our meal choices. When we raved about how wonderful they were, he even brought out the pasta chef, Leandro, so we could tell how pleased we were! Ava inquired if we were interested in dessert and suggested the cheesecake which we ordered. MMMMMM!!! We left stuffed and on our way out, Ben thanked us for stopping by and invited us back which we definitely plan on doing. Kudos to everyone involved in our great meal and night out.

I’ve been coming here for over 5 years, and I honestly can’t count how many times I’ve ordered. My personal go-to is a personal pizza with extra cheese and caramelized onions (Doug fans will get it ). For the house, it’s usually a large cheese or pepperoni, depending on votes, plus garlic knots with extra marinara. Everything is always consistent and delicious. Customer service is always friendly, whether it’s over the phone for pickup or in person. I usually do takeout, but the vibe inside is cozy — a family spot or even a casual date night place where you can have a nice conversation over pizza. It’s casual, simple, and reliable. Hawthorne’s is easily my favorite pizza spot in Mint Hill.

Top notch service and excellent menu options. I stopped in Mint Hill in between Christmas shopping stops. I originally chose another restaurant but left when I wasn't waited on. Best decision I could have made! Nice glass of Malbec with some pepperoni rolls and I was in heaven. Server was so attentive and friendly. Always love coming here.
